Load Scoring Algorithm
Every load that comes through your board gets a point score. By default, loads that score 70 or above get a CALL recommendation, and you can change that threshold in your preferences. Below the threshold is a SKIP.
Every load starts at 55 points and earns or loses points from there.
Score Thresholds

What Affects the Score
Rate Analysis (biggest impact)
Your load's rate is compared against up to three market benchmarks. Each is scored independently:
vs Board Average, what's visible on the board right now. Are you above or below the competition?
vs DAT Spot Rate, what carriers actually got paid on this lane recently. Are you above or below real market pricing?
vs DAT Contract Rate, DAT's contract-rate estimate for this lane, when DAT shows one. Above contract is a positive signal, not a guaranteed margin.
A load priced well above all three will score significantly higher than one that's only above one benchmark. DAT spot and contract figures are DAT's estimates and appear only when your DAT board session provides them.
When no market data is available, the rate is scored against fixed per-mile bands (for example, $3.00/mi and up scores well, under $1.25/mi scores poorly).
Broker History
Brokers you block are skipped. If you use factoring, brokers that are not credit-approved lose points. Your past calls on similar lanes also adjust the score.
Route & Commodity Match
Loads on routes and commodities you've successfully run before score higher. The more history on a lane, the stronger the signal.
Weight
Lighter loads score higher (under 15,000 lb adds 15 points), and very heavy loads (40,000+ lb) lose 10 points. Partial loads get their own weight and revenue rules.
Your Custom Rules
Your custom rules can move a load's score by up to 30 points either way, and a rule phrased as an absolute refusal (for example, "never pick up in Florida") forces a SKIP. Rules like "avoid Florida unless rate is 110%+ of market" or "prioritize Texas loads for home time" add or subtract points based on your preferences.
How to Get Better Scores
- Set specific custom rules: "Avoid NYC" is better than "find good loads"
- Build history: similar lanes and commodities you have run before add points (up to 25), and a load you rejected recently is penalized or skipped
- Check the breakdown: click any scored load in the extension popup to see exactly where points came from
- Adjust in Load Preferences: your custom rules live in the settings panel
