Load Scoring Algorithm
Every load that comes through your board gets a point score. Loads that score 70 or above get a CALL recommendation. Below 70 is a SKIP.
Every load starts at 55 points and earns or loses points from there.
Score Thresholds
| Score | Decision | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| 120+ | PRIORITY | Exceptional — drop what you're doing |
| 100–119 | HIGH | Very strong opportunity |
| 85–99 | GOOD | Solid load, worth pursuing |
| 70–84 | STANDARD | Above threshold — call on it |
| Below 70 | SKIP | Doesn't meet your criteria |
What Affects the Score
Rate Analysis (biggest impact)
Your load's rate is compared against up to three market benchmarks. Each is scored independently:
vs Board Average — what's visible on the board right now. Are you above or below the competition?
vs DAT Spot Rate — what carriers actually got paid on this lane recently. Are you above or below real market pricing?
vs DAT Contract Rate — what brokers are contractually paying on this lane (when available). Above contract = guaranteed margin.
A load priced well above all three will score significantly higher than one that's only above one benchmark.
When no market data is available, the rate is compared against estimated operating costs (fuel and labor) as a floor.
Broker History
If you've called on this broker before, the system remembers. Brokers you've successfully booked with get a boost. Brokers who wasted your time get penalized.
Route & Commodity Match
Loads on routes and commodities you've successfully run before score higher. The more history on a lane, the stronger the signal.
Equipment & Weight
Loads matching your preferred equipment type score higher. Heavier loads get a slight adjustment to account for fuel impact.
Your Custom Rules
Your custom rules can override everything. Rules like "avoid Florida unless rate is 110%+ of market" or "prioritize Texas loads for home time" add or subtract points based on your preferences.
How to Get Better Scores
- Set specific custom rules — "Avoid NYC" is better than "find good loads"
- Give it time — after 20–50 loads the system refines scoring weights based on which loads you called vs skipped
- Check the breakdown — click any scored load in the extension popup to see exactly where points came from
- Adjust in Load Preferences — your custom rules live in the settings panel
