The Voice Agent is a real-time phone agent that answers calls on your Freigent number. Callers are almost always brokers, shippers, or drivers, not you. The agent greets them, figures out why they're calling, and handles it: answering load questions, pulling rate history, negotiating, booking with your approval rules, and taking broker check-calls.
You stay in control the whole time:
- It follows your booking policy. Bookings follow your auto-approve setting and the market benchmark for the exact lane; anything the check cannot confirm goes to a human first.
- A dispatcher can join any call live and take over mid-conversation: the agent goes silent and lets the human finish.
- Calls are recorded and transcribed: filed in your call log with the outcome, unless the counterparty is on your do-not-record list or the recording authority cannot be confirmed (then nothing is captured).
The agent handles inbound calls to your provisioned number today; outbound calling (the agent placing calls for you) runs on the same engine.
