For brokers. Today Freigent does not send rate confirmations for you. After you assign the carrier (Loads, Find carrier), send the carrier your rate confirmation yourself. Sending one from Freigent, from ChatGPT or Claude, is in testing and not in the current plugin (1.0.11). Reference: Rate confirmations for brokers.
Get ready for it
- Add your MC in the rate confirmation section of Setup. When Freigent sends a rate con and your MC is not on file, it prints "MC not on file" where your MC goes and warns you first.
- Upload your template (a fillable PDF) in Setup, or use Freigent's own.
In testing: from ChatGPT or Claude
Real answers from a test account (example rates; a test account simulates every send). First a preview, nothing sent:

If the carrier is not on your carrier list, or FMCSA could not be reached or shows a problem, the preview adds that warning above Send; sending is your call. A rate con Freigent records on a load stays there as the record.
