Overview

The Freigent Chrome extension connects your load board browsing (DAT, Truckstop) with Freigent's AI. Browse loads like you normally would — the extension adds AI-powered rate evaluation, one-click booking, and automatic data entry.

What It Does

When you're browsing DAT or Truckstop in Chrome:

  1. Rate evaluation overlay — Each load gets an AI evaluation badge showing whether the rate is good, fair, or below market for that lane
  2. One-click pull — Click a load to pull its details into Freigent instantly. No more copy-pasting origin, destination, rate, weight, dates
  3. Quick book — Start a booking or negotiation directly from the load board
  4. Driver match preview — See which of your drivers are closest to the pickup location

Installation

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "Freigent" (or get the direct link from Settings > Integrations in your Freigent account)
  2. Click "Add to Chrome"
  3. The Freigent icon appears in your browser toolbar
  4. Click the icon and log in with your Freigent account credentials
  5. Navigate to DAT or Truckstop — the extension activates automatically

How It Works on DAT

When you're on DAT's load board:

Rate Badges

Each load listing gets a small badge showing the AI's rate evaluation:

  • Green — rate is at or above market for this lane. Good deal.
  • Yellow — rate is slightly below market. May be worth negotiating.
  • Red — rate is significantly below market. Proceed with caution.

The evaluation considers: current market rate for the lane, fuel costs, deadhead from your nearest driver, broker history (if you've worked with them before), and time of day/week.

Load Detail Panel

Click a load to open a side panel with:

  • Full AI analysis of the load (rate vs market, broker score, profitability estimate)
  • Your closest available drivers with distance and HOS status
  • Estimated trip cost (fuel, driver pay, tolls)
  • Estimated profit margin
  • "Pull into Freigent" button to import the load
  • "Start Negotiation" button to begin an email exchange

Automatic Data Capture

When you pull a load into Freigent, the extension captures:

  • Origin and destination (city, state, zip)
  • Rate offered
  • Equipment type required
  • Weight and dimensions
  • Pickup and delivery dates
  • Broker name and contact info
  • Load reference number

This data goes directly into Freigent as a load opportunity. No manual data entry.

How It Works on Truckstop

Same functionality as DAT:

  • Rate evaluation badges on search results
  • Load detail panel with AI analysis
  • One-click import into Freigent
  • Automatic data capture

Settings

In the extension popup (click the Freigent icon), you can configure:

  • Auto-evaluate — automatically evaluate all visible loads (default: on)
  • Notifications — alert when a high-value load matches your preferences
  • Default action — what happens when you click a load (show analysis vs immediately pull into Freigent)

Requirements

  • Google Chrome browser (version 88 or later)
  • Active Freigent account
  • Internet connection

The extension works on desktop Chrome only. Mobile browsers don't support extensions, but the Freigent mobile app handles load management on the go.

Privacy

The extension only activates on DAT and Truckstop domains. It doesn't track your browsing on other websites. Load data pulled into Freigent is stored in your organization's database and is never shared with other users.
